Do you want to ace your next interview and land that job that you want? Here are tips from Platinum Staffing, Inc.:

• Research the company.
  Make sure to do your due diligence and research the company that you are applying for. This will help you prepare for the interview question, “What do you know about this company?” If this question is not asked, try to establish that you know about the company. For example, you can incorporate what you know about the company into your responses. You may say, “I noticed that when you released a new product last month, your customer satisfaction ratings improved greatly. I am well versed in handling these types of products due to my training and experience.”
• Practice and prepare.
  Research and review the most common job interview questions, and practice your responses. Good responses are specific but concise. As much as possible, base your response on concrete examples or situations that highlight your skills. Also, make sure to emphasize your skills that are relevant to the position that you are applying for.
• Get ready ahead of time.
  To avoid rushing on the day of your interview, pick out your interview outfit ahead of time. If possible, research the company’s dress policy (i.e. business, business-casual, etc.) and dress appropriately. Make sure that your outfit is tidy, neat, and appropriate for the type of company you are applying for. Also, make sure to prepare extra copies of your resume. Don’t forget to bring a notepad and pen for note taking as well.
• Be on time.
  Being on time for an interview means arriving at least 10-15 minutes early. Take into account your interview schedule and adjust for local traffic patterns. If possible, drive to the interview location days before so that you know exactly where you are going and how long it will take for you to get there. Being early for your interview can also help you re-check your outfit, calm down, and compose yourself.
